We have denoted 96 sewing machines and launched 6 sewing cooperatives. We took 36 computer systems for the Reformed Seminary to use in night classes in computer applications.
We have taken hundreds of boxes of clothing, medicine, children's school supplies, books and lots of puppets. Lycoming has purchased 18 puppets that have since immigrated to Honduras and are used to help the puppet ministries at four churches and one school.
Sarah Updegraff is serving as a house parent at Hogar Renacer (August - December 2005). She also served with the Christian Commission for Self Development in January 2003.
Todd Tupper will be spending six weeks helping at an orphanage in November & December 2005.
Mark Tupper has been serving by driving a 15-passenger van for the teams to and from Newark Airport.
Our church bought microphones for Evangelical Inglesia Central America this summer (2005).

Turkey: At its meeting on 10/24/04, the Board of Managers of the New Wilmington Missionary Conference selected 9 college students, including Sarah Boyle (member of Lycoming Presbyterian Church), to represent the conference as the Summer Service Team for 2005. The Team served in Turkey. The team was led by Jen Haddox, the regional coordinator for the U.S. Center for World Mission and a student at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Jen has led a number of mission teams to Turkey.
Tucson, AZ: Sarah Updegraff (member)will be serving in Tucson, Arizona with the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. 'Young Adult Volunteer' beginning in September for a year placement. She will be working with Mexican women and children.
